Important information

  • Everyone can apply for available domain names. Multiple applications can be made for one domain name.
  • The registration is valid for one year.
  • The application outcome will be become definite on May 5, 2016.
  • Provided that there is one application for one domain name and the application is in accordance with the domain name policy, the domain will be assigned to the mentioned applicant.
  • An auction will be held for domain names with multiple applicants. The highest bidder will be able to register the domain name. The auction price will be collected separately by the company that runs the auction.
  • Date and place of the auction, which will be held independently, will be announced by the Central Registration Institution (Istanbul Medya A.Ş.)
  • The purchasing process will begin as of May 10, 2016. Everyone can buy the favored domains with the extensions .ist and .istanbul.
